FIRST WEDNESDAY BIG BUFFET LUNCHEON

We serve a great buffet luncheon on the first Wednesday of every month. .In September it will be on the 3rd. Our menus are different each and every month so if you visit us in August it will be different in September. We try different recipes so at least a few of the items will be ones you have never had before. It makes for interesting eating and we enjoy putting something new on the buffet. We have a soup, about five salads, two main entrees, potato, rice, two vegetables and four or five desserts. Please come and try us out! The price for all of this is $8.95. Beverages are $1.00. Call up your friends and come. This is a reservation or walk-in day but we do appreciate your reservation so that we can be sure to prepare enough.

SUNDAY BRUNCH BUFFET

Remember the Victorian House on Sundays. We start our buffet at 10:00 and serve until 2:00 in the afternoon. A great variety of foods are available to choose from making the meal fun and enjoyable. There are usually about 25 to 30 items from which to choose. Adults are $10.95, children 6-12 are $6.95 and 5 and under are free. Call for reservations (appreciated!) or just walk in. MYSTERY PLAY AND DINNER

Saturday, September 20th at 6:00 will be our next play date. The plays last for between two and two and a half hours and are loads of fun. Many laughs and lots of good food. This is a five course dinner and if you wish you can bring your own wine, beer or champagne. Call Vern at BlueStem Winery (319.346.1046) and he will stay open for you to stop in and purchase wine to have with dinner. The entree choices for September are Garlic Roasted Prime Rib, Stuffed Pork Loin or Mahi Mahi. We can serve between 40 and 45 plus our actors who also dine during the performance. Bring a group and enjoy the evening. The cost for this event is $30.44 per person which includes gratuity and tax. Call early for your reservations at 319.346.1441.

WEEKLY LUNCHEONS

Luncheons are served daily Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 to 2:00. Up to six menus (see below for menu links) are available from $6.95 to $7.95 with beverages $1.00 additional and desserts for an additional $2.00. We usually have three dessert choices. Call for reservations at 319.346.1441.

PASTA NIGHT

We are going to try a pasta night on Thursday nights beginning in August. We will be serving from 5:00 until 8:00. Several pastas to choose from plus salad and French bread or rolls. Pasta night price is $6.95. Call for reservations at 319.346.1441 and make a date for our Italian evening.

SEPTEMBER HAPPENINGS

The Parkersburg Downtown Merchants will be hosting its Fall Festival and Open House from Thursday, September 11 through Saturday, September 13. Open houses will offer the best selection of home decor and gifts that you'll ever find and pick up several bottles of the best Iowa wines at BlueStem Winery.

OTHER VICTORIAN HOUSE SPECIALTIES

The Victorian House and provide the service you need for wedding rehersal dinners, birthdays, retirement parties, anniversaries, and any other event you would like to celebrate. If you are a member of a card club you can host your game at the Victorian House. A luncheon can be provided for you or an afternoon dessert and coffee can be served. Groups of 12 are welcome any time so just give us a call to schedule your group. The Victorian House also can cater weddings, family reunions, funerals or any other event that you have.
